Nominally fantasy, what with all the cat ears and tails on kids (which are apparently associated with virginity) and magic fights in dark dimensions that are thinly veiled sexual metaphors. With a twelve-year-old. Apparently the way to enjoy this show is to mentally age the kid, which isn't too hard given that he does not look as young as he is. I still can't stomach it though.
