Oh, and I guess I should explain, "Just don’t put it against an Alarm Clock!" There was a Psychedelic band in the 60's called the Strawberry Alarm Clock. They had a single hit song called "Incense and Peppermints".

Never heard of Tangerine Dream? Ahhhh, I am getting sooo old. They never were a big mainstream band, popular mostly with the advent guard and space music crowd. Had they are not as active as they once were - hell, they must be in their 70's by now.

I support anything you want to do. I trust you. And I love the look of the strawberries. Maybe something along the line of "Crimson" something? I dunno. I feel I myself am too femme for this project!

I'd never heard of the band before creating the site and (after the fact) googling the name. Given that I never hear the name except from certain music fans, I honestly don't know if I'm missing a strong name connection due to my age or what :)

The name of the site made sense once upon a time, but it has been neither orange nor tangerine themed for a long time (I liked the idea of girls' manga being both sweet and tart, and the word just feels good on the tongue). At this point it's a branding issue, and I really don't want to change the name unless it's a really good replacement. However the disconnect is definitely greater now with the current strawberry theme! I'm open to suggestions for a rename along fruity lines. "Strawberry Dreams" feels too generically feminine and there's no guarantee I will stick with a strawberry theme in the future.

One of my favorite all time webmistresses is back in business! You give sooo much, it would nice to see you make some profit for your Great Work.

One thang, ole friend. Have you ever consider those what those old musicians in Germany would think about the name for this site? I am older person and whenever I heard the name Tangerine Dream, I immediately think of those pioneers of gothic synthezier music. I would very much hate to see you sued. Maybe the relaunch could include a new name?

Ironic that this web has nice picture of a delicious fruit that is NOT tangerine. Just don't put it against an Alarm Clock!
