Shoujo Manga Scan Groups
I have listed whether these sites archive their series on IRC, HTTP, or BitTorrent. Scanlators must be the only folks who still use the archaic IRC system to serve files. It's the most awful, nearly impossible method of distribution you can imagine (no matter what scanlators like to say), which goes against scanlators' purpose of promoting new or obscure series. I've given up on using it, and I'm tech-savvy.
- Shoujo Magic (largest translater of shoujo manga, but the quality of their titles varies wildly and their projects are very difficult to actually download because they're on IRC or file sharing sites that don't work well. You may have luck finding HTTP hosts for selected Shoujo Magic series, which is a far better option than fighting with their huge IRC channel which disallows @find.)
- MangaScreener (downloads on
IRC, also has shounen)
- Storm in Heaven (combination
of HTTP downloads and IRC)
- Eden (some HTTP downloads,
all others on IRC)
- Nekohana (all projects
have HTTP downloads, also on IRC)
- Lavendar Tinted (all projects
have HTTP downloads, also on IRC)
- Lililicious - (female-oriented yuri manga, doujinshi, anime; manga projects
have HTTP downloads, anime are on Bit Torrent)
- Hush Project (new releases on IRC,
some HTTP downloads for older projects)
- Starry Heaven (BitTorrent
downloads, also on IRC)
- Endless Dimension (some
HTTP downloads, all others on IRC)
- Bisquettes (tiny handful
of HTTP downloads, otherwise all on IRC)
- MangaSOS (many HTTP downloads for
various groups)
- UberBanzai (some HTTP downloads
for various groups)

- Girls' Horror Comics - "Although largely unrecognized in the United States, "girls' horror" is a concept arguably as old as horror itself. Character-oriented and plot-driven, horror aimed at a young female audience has an appeal that can extend not only across ages and genders but even across genres to individuals who otherwise would never think of reading horror stories."
